Who am I ?
Hi, my name is Sander Rijnders, and I'm a model
photographer. I was thrown into this world in 1975 and I’m
currently living in Venlo, a city found in the south of the
Netherlands, close to the German border.
My first
digital camera was a compact camera from Canon, one on which
you could control the settings manually including aperture
and shutter speed. That camera has always worked smoothly
and to my satisfaction, but people kept saying that "real
photos" were still made with an analog SLR camera.
However, that all changed with the introduction of the
digital SLR camera. When the time finally came to replace my
good old compact camera, I bought my first “real” camera, a
digital SLR.
Since working with a digital SLR is quite different from
working with a compact camera, I searched the Internet for
tips and tricks, read books on how to get the most out of
your camera and followed several photography workshops.
A lot has changed over the years in the world of
photography, and although my skills have improved a lot, I’m
still learning with every shoot. Meanwhile, my main focus
has become model photography.
The default kit lenses have all since been replaced by
lenses from Canon’s L series, and my first body substituted
by the Canon 5D Mark II.
Please feel free to browse
through my portfolio. Should you have any questions and/or
remarks, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Have fun!
Sander.
